More Bogart.....but not slick.
He is gritty and common.
I gotta say this is not my favourite Bogart film, but its a total must see for a film lover.
He slided into insanity and this explores the power of greed.
The lure of wealth and the happiness we will give up to get it.
I watched this shortly after the crash of the US economy and all i could think was that nothing has changed.
People will do anything to get their own, and this movie dives deep into it.
